It was nice to see a good result from a recent social media campaign. Andrew Spaulding a military man who’d been deployed with a service dog in Afghanistan set about trying to trace the dog ‘Bono’ who he’d spent 10 months eating, sleeping, working and breathing with in some very tough conditions.
The search quickly gained momentum being shared more than 100k times. Within 3 days he’d located Bono’s present handler and was thrilled to discover he was living a happy life. Bono was certified as a service dog to help his current owner with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury.
Andrew was overwhelmed by the response and expressed his gratitude online at finding Bono and now having the contact in place to keep up to date with his progress.
