K9 Patrol Ltd have extended their external training portfolio and are excited to announce we have been taken on by South Yorkshire Police at their official training grounds in Sheffield.

They have taken K9 Patrol Ltd and all its handlers on as students and have put together a training program to suit our company’s training requirements. Propelling us into a league of our own in the private security industry and way above many others on level of training.

At this training ground they have 12 ACPO accredited Police Dog instructors who between them offer a wealth of experience in all elements of dog training. Each police instructor has their own area of expertise and each are involved in every aspect of training. All instructors have the National Learning and Development Awards and are AA1 Diversity qualified. The manager of the training school is also a member of the ACPO Standing Advisor Committee.

South Yorkshire Police Dog Training School is recognised as a ‘centre of excellence’ in the dog training world. They pride themselves on their professional and transparent approach to dog training.

As well as on-site facilities for obedience, agility and criminal work exercises, the training centre also has a large number of both urban and rural training areas, plus they have access to ‘live’ buildings to replicate as near as possible operational scenarios. These range from city centre training such as hotels/nightclubs, schools and industrial estates to vast areas of rural land including moorland and farmland.
