First Aid Training for K9 Patrol Team

By K9 Patrol 22/02/14, Posted in Latest News

As part of our ongoing Training & Development plan, members of the K9 Patrol team including management attended an ‘Emergency First Aid at Work’ course last week. The course includes how to deal with minor injuries, choking, unconscious casualties and CPR.

“In the security industry whether you’re a static guard, dog handler or door supervisor you are more than likely going to be faced with a situation where first aid needs to be applied. We believe our team should be equipped with the knowledge to handle such situations and respond accordingly as and when they arise.” Kate Chandler, Managing Director

“Being one of the attendees myself, I have come away feeling much more confident about ever having to tend to a casualty in an emergency situation be it at work or out of work and would definitely recommend it to anyone irrespective of the type of job you do. Knowing the basics of first aid that were covered on the course really could mean the difference between life and death.” Samantha Davy,BDM

The training was provided by Ruth Watson from Watson Training Services.
